We live in reactionary times, marked by a global setback in LGBTQ+, feminist, and reproductive justice rights. While trans people suffer a brutal institutional and media attack, Israel's colonial project instrumentalizes the LGBTQ+ struggle to legitimize its genocide against the Palestinian people. Within our borders, the far right reinforces xenophobic narratives under the supposed protection of the LGBTQ+ community, while simultaneously dismantling legal progress on rights, censoring feminist and inclusive content in education, and repressing trans-feminist social centers and queer nightlife spaces. At the same time, a conservative discourse is spreading among young people, seeking to reinforce traditional gender roles and blaming, among other struggles against oppression, queer and feminist activism for the consequences of the economic crisis.  

In this context, what transformative power do queer pride and rage hold? Can they become one of the main antifascist tools of our time? What challenges must LGBTQ liberation face to be truly diverse and widespread? It is urgent to begin building an antifascist queer pride movement, and we hope this panel can serve as a step we can take together.
