XIX Continuous Reading of Don Quixote
The traditional Continuous Reading of Don Quixote celebrates its nineteenth edition in 2015. This uninterrupted reading will take place over forty-eight hours, and its open nature provides citizens with a lively forum for participation.
The opening of the event and the reading of the first lines of Cervantes' great work will be carried out by John Goytisolo, Cervantes Prize 2014 (23.04.15 ? 18:00h).
Prominent figures from the worlds of politics and culture will participate, and there will be live and pre-recorded telephone and video conference connections with: Córdoba and Buenos Aires (Argentina), Havana (Cuba), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Brasilia and Curitiba (Brazil), Yumbei (Chile), La Paz (Bolivia), Asunción (Paraguay), Lima (Peru), Tegucigalpa (Honduras), Mexico City (Mexico), Santa Ana (El Salvador), Miami, Boston and New York (USA), Budapest (Hungary), Helsinki (Finland), Sofia (Bulgaria), kyiv (Ukraine), London (UK), Belgrade (Serbia), Bucharest (Romania), Beirut (Lebanon), Rabat (Morocco), Tunis (Tunisia), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Seoul (Korea), Beijing (China), Tokyo (Japan), and various locations in Spain such as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, La Rioja, and Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara), Córdoba, Villanueva de los Infantes (Ciudad Real), Villamayor de Santiago (Cuenca), Zaragoza and El Toboso (Toledo), among others.

The reading will be broadcast via Radio Círculo and from our website.
Students from the Alicia Alonso University Institute of Dance at Rey Juan Carlos University will perform excerpts from Don Quixote.
