Don Quixote returns to CírculoAnd this year, we're celebrating twice over: 30 years of continuous reading and the centenary of the building.
Since 1997, el Círculo de Bellas Artes For several days, it becomes a place where reading is not done silently, but aloud and in company. Thousands of people have already passed through this shared space—anonymous readers, students, professionals, and the simply curious—alongside leading figures in culture and numerous Cervantes Prize winners who, year after year, inaugurate this tradition. This year, the reading will be inaugurated by the 2025 Cervantes Prize winner, Gonzalo Celorio Blasco.
A reading that has grown over time, connecting generations, accents and places — also beyond Madrid, with voices coming from other countries — and that has become one of the most unique and open collective celebrations around a book.

An invitation to read together.
To share words and time and make reading a common space.

For several days, el Círculo It becomes a meeting place open to all, where reading Quijote It includes workshops, performances, talks and activities for all ages.
You can join as a reader, or simply come and enjoy the atmosphere and the parallel program that accompanies this unique celebration. A collective experience that reminds us, as Don Quixote himself said: "He who reads much and travels much, sees much and knows much."
