Arts, Humanities and Business Forums
The Banco Sabadell Foundation and el Círculo de Bellas Artes In 2024, they will present three forums within the framework of the Arts, Humanities, and Business initiative. These forums are part of a project promoted by both entities. Culture in residence.
This proposal is based on the conviction that the arts and humanities are elements of social and business transformation And that social innovation cannot occur without their valuable contribution. In this context, several questions arise: What values and skills can the Humanities contribute to today's business ecosystem? What forms of collaboration are possible between two seemingly disparate sectors? What mutual learning can emerge?
Culture in Residence This proposal is conceived in continuity with the spirit of the R&D&C Strategy, the “Dialogues for Critical Innovation,” and the “Dialogues on Ethics, Politics, and Public Virtue.” The Arts, Humanities, and Business line of work has proven to be one of the most fruitful of those proposed in the development of this strategy.
To open up theoretical and practical proposals on the interaction between seemingly distant fields such as the world of business and the humanities, the Banco Sabadell Foundation and el Círculo de Bellas Artes They held preliminary working sessions in the last quarter of 2023. They started from a clear intuition: There is no true innovation without the humanities and art. These sessions involved professionals and experts in both areas. The three forums proposed below emerged from the debates, ideas, conversations, and experiences shared during these working sessions.
