El poema del ángulo recto
In 1955, after eight years of work, Le Corbusier published The poem of the right angleThe great Swiss architect considered this work a true recapitulation of his entire career, a summary of his ideas on artistic and architectural creativity and its role in the contemporary world. In the 155 lithographed pages that comprise the work, the text of the poem, handwritten by the artist himself, appears alongside numerous drawings and 19 full-page color lithographs. The result is a grand fresco, a total work of art that combines writing, visual arts, and architectural reflection. The CBA publishes two volumes sold together in a slipcase: a facsimile, also available separately, of The poem of the right angle and a catalogue, with reproductions of most of the exhibited pieces and studies by Juan Calatrava, Juan Miguel Hernández León, Antonio Juárez, Eric Mouchet and Josep Quetglas.
