Hegel contemporáneo
Available in bookstores on May 13th
Can Hegel still speak to us today? Does he still have something to say to us in a world marked by climate crisis, individualism, technological transformations, and a loss of political direction? In what sense, ultimately, can Hegel be our contemporary?
This book begins with a conviction: that Hegel's questions do not merely belong to the past. Thus, rather than offering a literal commentary on the Phenomenology of Spirit, the essays collected in this volume establish a dialogue between Hegelian thought and current philosophical trends, exploring contemporary issues from multiple perspectives. Through politics, aesthetics, social theory, and intellectual history, the authors address some of the most pressing problems of our time: social atomism, the crisis of the subject and institutions, technological transformation, the intersection of language, reality, and thought, and the place of philosophy in a culture dominated by science and capital.
Contemporary Hegel It brings together established figures and young researchers who propose to rethink Hegel, not to repeat his answers, but to reactivate his questions and measure, through them, the form that our present takes.
