Argentine Impressions (2000-2005) This exhibition brings together a diverse selection of graphic and serial works by ten contemporary Argentine artists: Tulio de Sagastizábal, Pablo Siquier, Luis Tomasello, Liliana Porter, Alejandro Corujeira, Adolfo Estrada, Eric Kirksaether, Laura Lío, César Paternosto, and Natalia Cacchiarelli. The defining characteristic of this show is its heterodoxy, both in terms of the diversity of artistic languages—ranging from minimalism to the most expressive use of color, including abstract expression—and the variety of media: intaglio monotypes, serigraph monotypes, digital prints, and photographs. All the selected works are characterized by an innovative approach that departs from more conventional graphic production.
