Minerva 44
Issue number 44 has arrived Minerva, an edition that addresses some of the most urgent debates of our time from the perspectives of thought, artistic creation, and science.
We open with interviews and articles that cross philosophy, politics and art, such as the conversation with Santiago Zabala about the permanent state of exception, an analysis of the work of Simone Weil in the face of the colonial question or a dialogue about the legacy of the architect Fernández del Amo.
The issue includes an extensive Kafka Year Dossier, with texts by Jorge Volpi, Marisa Siguan and Hanns Zischler that explore the writer's continued relevance on the centenary of his death, as well as the influence of his work on Spanish literature.
In the social and scientific field, topics such as geoengineering, the relationship between science and poetry, the humanization of knowledge or climate change are addressed, with interviews with Gabriel Chiodo, Martín Barreiro and articles by José Ramón Alonso, Estrella Montolío or Luis García Montero.
This issue is rounded out with reflections on democracy, humanism, art as resistance and invisibility in creation, with contributions from figures such as Marshall Ganz, María Jerez, Itziar Okariz and Catia Faria.
