The essays contained in this volume originated in the conferences, courses, and seminars held in connection with the exhibition entitled Walter Benjamin. Constellations, it was inaugurated in el Círculo de Bellas Artes In November 2010, the exhibition toured, being discussed in various cultural centers and artistic spaces, fostering encounters among people interested in Benjamin's texts, the images associated with him, and the range of themes he addressed. Thus, starting in Madrid and traveling from Munich to Asunción, passing through Bilbao, A Coruña, Rosario, Santiago de Chile, Guatemala City, Tenerife, and Mexico City, the exhibition demonstrated the enormous interest that Benjamin continues to generate as a philosophical and political interlocutor. For his work is undoubtedly not a closed corpus, but a profound repository of conceptual possibilities, a precise yet incisive lexicon for interpreting the ever-evolving meanings that cluster within an inexhaustible present.
