[does not exist], by the Spanish artist nacho bred (Mengíbar, Jaén, 1946) proposes a journey through the sources of impossibility: to what extent and who can claim to know a work? At what point is a work ready to be understood? What does it mean for an artist to speak, to fix meaning? Rather than being convenient objects that deliver meaning, the works lie patiently on the edge of an abyss of meaning. Like images stored in the unconscious, they inspire reverie, dispersion, excess.

As the artist himself has pointed out, [[does not exist] It is a project that brings together certain works that have never been seen before. It reflects on how pieces that have not yet been realized exist very precisely within the memory of their author, and how these allow for a shift to other types of work. There are works condemned to a kind of immateriality,
forever anchored in memory.
