Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922-1975), one of the most unsettling creators of the 20th century, has bequeathed to us an immense body of literary and cinematic work, as well as incisive critical interventions in which he denounced social problems that have proven crucial in our time. Communism, sex, religion, and the ethnological texture of traditional societies are some of the themes that most frequently occupied Pasolini. However, the common thread running through his diverse intellectual output is poetry, understood as a privileged space for reflection. Thus, Pasolini: Word of a Corsair offers an extensive review of Pasolini's corpus, with special attention to his poetry and his extensive journalistic and epistolary production. The volume also includes photographic material from various periods of his life, images of original manuscripts, and other materials featured in the exhibition of the same name organized by el Círculo de Bellas Artes Madrid native. The book is completed with a series of essays by experts and admirers of Pasolini's work such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Remo Bodei, Vicenzo Cerami, Mariano Maresca, Luis García Montero or Benjamín Prado.
