Pessoa / Lisboa

Fernando Pessoa. He is, without a doubt, the most important writer in the Portuguese language. His abundant poetic and prose work, one of the most interesting and insightful responses to the isolation and disenchantment inherent in the experience of modernity, remains relatively unknown to the Spanish public.

Pessoa / Lisbon He proposes an approach to his work through two tools: firstly, the documentary of the same title directed by Alberto Ruiz de Samaniego y José Manuel MouriñoA cinematic essay that, through a journey through Lisbon, juxtaposes different fragments of Pessoa's work with a series of important places in the writer's life. And secondly, the Atlas Pessoa, a computer tool that, as if it were a map or a travel guide, allows you to navigate through his work, encouraging new readings.

In addition to the DVD with the documentary and the Atlas on CD, this book includes texts by David Sánchez UsanosAlberto Ruiz de Samaniego and José Manuel Mouriño, as well as the film's script, and serves as a guide to access both Pessoa's work and the two tools mentioned.
