Antonio Bonet Correa (A Coruña, 1925) is Professor Emeritus of Art History at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has been Director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville and has presided over the Spanish Association of Art Critics and the Madrid International Contemporary Art Fair (ARCO). Second Vice-President of the Institute of Spain and Trustee of the Permanent Commission of the Prado Museum, he belongs to the Royal Academies of Fine Arts of Seville, Málaga, Extremadura, Barcelona, ​​and Toledo, and is an Honorary Academician of Our Lady of the Rosary of A Coruña.

He holds the French decorations of Commander of the Order of Academic Palms and Knight of the Order of Merit. He is currently the Director of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
