As if it were the last time | Wim and Donata Wenders
As if it were the last time, catalog of the exposure namesake held in el Círculo de Bellas Artes, brings together a wide collection of photographs by the German filmmaker Wim Wenders (Düsseldorf, 1945) and his wife Donata (Berlin, 1965)—director of photography on his films since 1995—created the images taken during preparations and downtime on set. The exhibition is divided into six sections corresponding to the films Wenders has made over the last fifteen years. The images reflect two complementary worlds, reflecting the different perspectives of Wim and his wife. The catalogue is rounded out with two poems by the German director and essays by the Spanish filmmaker Isabel Coixet and the exhibition's curator, Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz.
