A dialogue between art and science: from the Cosmos to Life, canvas by canvas

This talk proposes a journey through time, taking us from the Big Bang—the origin of everything, some 13.700 billion years ago—to the present day, where our species is part of a magnificent biodiversity. Along this path, we will explore the main stages of the evolution of the Cosmos and life as explained by science, using only paintings by artists from different eras and styles as visual metaphors. In doing so, we will demonstrate that science, the humanities, and art are interconnected branches of culture, capable of engaging in dialogue with one another in the search for answers to the fascinating questions that surround us.
