El Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid (CBA) is a private, non-profit cultural association. To achieve its aims—promoting artistic, cultural, and social expressions, and serving as a meeting point for cultural training, dissemination, and information—it processes data from interested parties. 

In accordance with current legislation, the CBA aims to process your personal data in a fair, lawful, and transparent manner, and to that end establishes this Privacy Policy in relation to its website. www.circulodebellasartes.com and other paper-based media where data is collected and which refer to the same.

4. Rights in relation to your personal data

  • Right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data when the accuracy, legality or necessity of the processing of the data is not appropriate, in which case, we may retain them for the exercise or defense of claims.

  • Right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. In these cases, we will cease processing your data unless we have a legitimate interest or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

The interested party may also withdraw the consent given without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing already carried out.

To exercise their rights, the interested party or their representative may send a letter with their request and identifying data, indicating the right being exercised and the affected processing to the postal or electronic address of the Responsible section.

We will respond to your requests as soon as possible and, at the latest, within one month of receipt. This period may be extended by a further two months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. The CBA will inform you of any extensions within the first month of your request, stating the reason for the delay.

We also inform you that you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you believe that there has been any infringement in the processing of your personal data.

5 Security measures

The CBA adopts organizational and technical security measures to ensure that the processing of your personal data complies with current legislation.

The CBA is present on various Social Networks that are open to all users.

These are platforms where any user can register and follow the CBA for free, publish and exchange information and content, as well as establish communication between several users.

On these social networks, any user can learn about our activities and services and access a variety of audiovisual content. Users of these networks, by using the functionalities embedded in www.circulodebellasartes.com To share or comment, you should be aware that this place is totally independent of the CBA and is visible to all its users, and the privacy policies to be applied are those set by the owners of these Social Networks.

The user is free to use these Social Networks and to unsubscribe from the official CBA pages hosted on them according to the procedure established by each Social Network and, therefore, stop receiving information from the CBA.
