Dialogue · Bianca Thoilliez and Borja Sémper

Bianca Thoilliez , PhD, Contracted Professor in the Department of Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), and Borja Sémper , a graduate in Law from the University of the Basque Country and an expert in Public Management from IESE, are the protagonists of the sixth installment of Dialogues on ethics, politics and public virtue.

This conversation revolves around the question of whether politicians truly represent the citizens. Should those in positions of power be a reflection of Spanish society, or should they be better than that? What interests do political parties have? Do they genuinely seek to transform reality? These questions will open the debate among our speakers as they attempt to find answers.

The project "Dialogues on Ethics, Politics, and Public Virtue" aims to conduct a critical, transdisciplinary, and heuristic analysis of the concepts of ethics and political virtue. To this end, ten conversations will be recorded in which researchers from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) will engage in dialogue with ten prominent figures in the world of politics.
