Singing together is one of the oldest ways to build community. The voice is the first instrument we possess, and when it joins with other voices, it becomes a shared experience capable of strengthening bonds, stimulating listening, and generating well-being.

This workshop offers a space for families to enjoy music together and discover choral singing from a playful, participatory, and intergenerational perspective. Through songs, vocal games, and group activities, participants will explore their own voices, develop their listening skills, and experience the joy of creating music with others.

Beyond musical learning, the choir becomes a place to share quality time, build confidence, and create shared memories. Singing in a group fosters concentration, coordination, emotional expression, and a sense of belonging, demonstrating that music can also be a way to care for oneself and others.

No musical knowledge or prior experience is necessary. Just a desire to sing, share, and let yourself be carried away by the music.

Taught by

Belén de Benito is a musician, performer, and teacher with extensive experience in music education. She has worked for over three decades in schools, municipal schools, and conservatories, including Kensington School in Pozuelo, the Popular School of Music and Dance in Madrid, and the Municipal School of Music in La Granja de San Ildefonso. She currently directs a family choir and various musical projects in Fresnedillas de la Oliva.

As a performer, he is part of various musical groups and has collaborated with artists such as Antonio Vega and Luis Eduardo Aute, in addition to participating in film and television recordings and composing music for audiovisual projects.
