César Rendueles (1975) is a tenured scientist at the Institute of Philosophy of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He previously taught sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid. His essays have been published in a dozen countries . His latest books are Against Equality of Opportunity: An Egalitarian Pamphlet (2020) and Communtopia : Commons, Post-Capitalism , and Ecosocial Transition (2024). He regularly writes for El País and other media outlets.
