Francisco Javier Krahe de Salas (1944-2015), cSpanish anti-songwriter and co-founder of the independent record label 18 Chulos. Known for his ironic tone, he began his career as a lyricist in Canada, inspired by the example of Georges Brassens and Leonard Cohen.  

After his return to Spain, the singer-songwriter Chicho Sánchez Ferlosio convinced him to perform in venues such as The Aurorawhere he will meet Joaquín Sabina and Alberto Pérez. The powerful trio will record the album the mandrake (1981), which takes its title from one of the venues where they performed in those days. 

A lover of small-format concerts, Krahe continued to perform in venues such as Madrid's Café Central or in cultural spaces such as A pousada das ánimasIn the town of Boiro, in the province of A Coruña, he gave his last concert before his death from a heart attack on July 12, 2015, in what he considered his second home: Zahara de los Atunes, in the province of Cádiz.
