About the film
Who is this Polish composer who transcends the power of music? Who is this star who commands the attention of all Parisians? They call him Chopin. He is the subject of every conversation, the most romantic figure of Paris's decadent nights. When his lungs begin to bleed, Chopin knows his days are numbered. Composing becomes his sole obsession.
