García Canga's short film evokes the cinema of Philippe Garrel, especially his recent and one of his best works, L'amant d'un jour ( Lover for a Day, 2017), with its symmetrical compositions and black and white, its long shots (as if gently stretching), the use of transitions and attention to detail (a light in a building at night, sheets that are stretched and covered with a blanket, condense what their friendship means; two shots of an unmade bed reflect the fading of an ephemeral relationship that will remain as a void)
