The National Association of People with Epilepsy (ANPE) was founded in 2016 with the aim of defending and representing people with this condition in Spain. Currently, there are approximately 700.000 people affected in our country, and between 10.000 and 20.000 new cases are diagnosed each year, often associated with various other conditions. Children and the elderly are the most affected groups, with one new case every two hours.

ANPE develops workshops, events, conferences and all kinds of activities to raise awareness of this chronic neurological disease, allowing its normalization (through training and information) and the eradication of false myths that remain anchored in society.

The National Association of People with Epilepsy bases its activity on the following pillars: the first is education, enabling children and adolescents with epilepsy to access the necessary resources for good academic and psychosocial development, and to become self-sufficient adults with a fulfilling life; the second is healthcare, thanks to which people with epilepsy and their families can enjoy a better quality of life; finally, the association's work in information and training campaigns aimed at employers and workers' compensation insurers stands out, so that epilepsy does not become an obstacle to employment.

Within Círculo SolidaryThis concert is being held by The Other Band and the singer-songwriter Álvaro Prada, whose proceeds will go entirely to the National Association of People with Epilepsy (ANPE).
