From here It's a jazz album conceived by the drummer Carlos Sir Charles González It draws on the work of classical Spanish composers, including Arriaga, Marco, Albéniz, Granados, Turina, and Mompou. This project brings together well-known pieces with others that are less familiar but of equally high musical value: an album in which classical Spanish music coexists with jazz, improvisation, and the avant-garde.

Carlos "Sir Charles" González founded the Neobop group in 1982. He has performed with musicians such as James Moody, Jim Snidero, Mike Osborne, Eric Alexander, Gary Bartz, Ron Jackson, Roni Ben-Hur, Pedro Iturralde, Nilson Matta, and Lou Bennett, whom he considers his musical godfather. In 1993, he created the rhythm section for Whisky Jazz in Madrid, along with Fabio Miano and Richi Ferrer, under the name Milestones Trio. He has composed music for theater and television and has been a member of groups such as BAC Trio, The Missing Stompers, ASAS, and ¡ZAS! Trio. Since 2004, he has led his own ensembles, under the names Sir Charles + 3, Sir Charles + 4, and Sir Charles + 5.
