The Soñar Despierto Foundation is made up of a group of young people who develop projects to improve the lives of children and teenagers living in foster care centers in the Community of Madrid. Soñar Despierto was founded 14 years ago with the goal of building a better society for tomorrow by supporting the children and young people of today. Its mission is to integrate into society, through socio-educational projects, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and dysfunctional families who live in foster care centers, residential facilities, and open centers. To achieve this, they establish relationships with volunteers, who become role models for these young people.

The pillars of the foundation are the following: to offer educational and emotional support to children so that they can maintain an adequate school level; to carry out actions to promote inclusive education in leisure time and to foster education in values; and to promote active citizenship and social participation through volunteering.

"A Christmas for Everyone" is one of the projects carried out by the foundation, aiming to bring Christmas to young people in the Community of Madrid who live in foster care and cannot celebrate the holidays with their families. The project offers these young people the chance to experience a magical day: each one writes a letter to the Three Wise Men and asks for the gift they would like to receive. Thanks to the support of businesses and volunteers, these little dreams come true, and a day is celebrated where the young people can enjoy various activities (treasure hunts, games, dancing). The day concludes with the distribution of gifts.
