Due to his life circumstances, the work of Eduardo Polonio (1941-2024) runs parallel to the history of electroacoustic music in Spain. As one of the most significant composers of his generation, he was a participant observer of the vicissitudes of technological evolution and the various aesthetic movements of the second half of the 20th century. From his beginnings at Alea—the country's first electronic music laboratory—to his work at the Phonos laboratory in Barcelona, ​​Polonio forged a unique path in the history of experimental music.

This listening session includes eight pieces created between 1969 and 1981, which are included in an anthology published through Buh Records in a limited edition double LP and in digital format, in collaboration with the Spanish Electroacoustic Music Association, and which is presented to the public for the first time on this occasion.
