VII Conference on Art, Education and Citizenship. Schools with the Seventh Art

The relationship between film and education is fruitful and bidirectional. Films have offered numerous portrayals of schools, which in turn have frequently employed audiovisual media as a pedagogical tool. Watching films is a fairly common activity in schools. However, approaching this art form from a critical, artistic, ethical, and creative perspective is less so. Through lectures, screenings, debates, and project presentations, this conference will explore the new challenges that this thriving connection presents.
