Conferences: Life or Death
[df-subtitle]Prisons, reformatories, concentration camps and labor battalions of the Spanish Republicans[/df-subtitle]
The Spanish Civil War remains one of the conflicts that has left the greatest number of victims of political violence in contemporary history. Research on this phenomenon has advanced in recent decades, but it still requires a broader and more open debate with the general public. The Exile Studies Chair of the Pablo Iglesias Foundation is organizing a series of studies on the long list of punishments suffered by Spanish Republicans, both within and outside of Spain, throughout the 1940s.
