The emotional wardrobe: fashion workshop
With Clara Macías
This workshop offers a fresh approach to fashion: a symbolic, creative, and deeply personal territory. Over ten sessions, participants will explore their relationship with clothing through memory, emotion, and identity, transforming forgotten garments into unique pieces with a strong personal touch. The process is conceived as a creative journey where clothing acts as both discourse and gesture.
Guerrilla upcycling techniques , textile deconstruction, and artisanal remaking will be explored , combined with personal styling tools and experimentation with color, texture, and form. This approach allows for questioning conventional fashion consumption and reclaiming the garment as a narrative object.
The workshop will culminate in a collective performance: a parade in which each creation will come to life on stage, celebrating the expressive power of the body and the transformative power of dressing (ourselves) from emotion.
