In this workshop, inspired by the exhibition " Construction Toys: School of Modern Architecture ," children will explore the path that connects play and architecture. It presents an approach to the concept of play as learning and experimentation, with references to both fictional and real architecture, born from boundless imaginations.

Each student will create one or more three-dimensional pieces as a tangible representation of their architectural process. These pieces will, in turn, form part of a planned and organized construction, just as in the execution of a real building project, where every element is essential.

In the final phase of the workshop, the children will be able to freely build their dream set using the available materials. In this way, play will once again be present in this world of infinite possibilities.

The need to develop an activity to convey the meaning of architecture to children arises from the absence, in the educational curriculum, of a subject capable of addressing the built environment. Given the disconnection of city dwellers from their surroundings, it is desirable that children think about, understand, protect, and love places.
