At the 2025 City and Science Biennial, cinema is not just a window to the future; it is a tool for thinking about, observing, and questioning reality through multiple languages: science, technology, philosophy, and art. Through a carefully curated series, we propose an audiovisual journey through some of the big questions that permeate quantum physics, technology, identity, and ethics.

This is not just a science fiction series. It's a journey to the heart of the scientific and existential dilemmas that define our time, from identity to information, from energy to memory, from data to truth. The series aims to create a space where quantum physics, with its paradoxes, possibilities, and open questions, intersects with the cinematic narratives that have interpreted, challenged, or even anticipated it.

Each screening will be followed by a discussion between specialists in physics, artificial intelligence, film, and philosophy of science. This is a space to cross disciplines, demystify concepts, and approach quantum physics through the language of cinema and the emotional power of storytelling. From the classic *The Fly* (1958) to the unsettling *Coherence* (2013), by way of Kurosawa's humanism and Oliver Stone's energy activism, this series brings together films that engage with physics, philosophy, and the social sciences. We're talking about narratives that question the very idea of ​​reality, that play with time, truth, causality, and possible worlds.
