Gran Gala Flamenco es un espectáculo ideado por el bailaor Rafael Amargo, que tendrá lugar en el Círculo de Bellas Artes durante los meses de junio (días 7, 16 y 22) y julio (días 4, 6 y 13).

Se trata de una aproximación al arte flamenco, un género que nace en el siglo XVIII en Andalucía, vinculado a la expresión de la celebración de la vida. Viajando por los diferentes palos (ritmos), el espectador descubrirá la intensidad de la pasión del pueblo gitano: música, alma y danza confluirán en esta gala en torno a un arte íntimamente ligado a la tradición española.

Flamenco was born in the 18th Century in Andalusia as a form of expression reserved for the most intense moments of the celebration of life. Rafael Amargo, the most known and awarded flamenco dancer and choreographer still on stage in our days, proposes his brand new show Gran Gala Flamenco in which he will lead the spectator to experience a mixture of sensations, rhythms and movements that define this art form declared, in 2010, Intangible Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO.

Moving through the different palos (rhythmic patterns) you will be able to discover the intensity of the passion felt by the Gyspy people through time, a perfect union of heart and soul, music and dance in all its aspects is being offered, one that since the beginning of time, has characterised the heart of Spanish tradition.

It is one of the pillars of flamenco by the solemnity which characterises its performance; feelings move to the foreground.

Alegría
It is a cante festero that is suitable for dancing. It is characterised by its dynamism, grace and fluency.

Fandango
It is a dance for couples that has the rotations that are typical of courtship dancing.
